

TESDA continues to conduct trainings in Surigao Sur
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Surigao del Sur headed by Provincial Director Rey Cueva has continued to do conduct more trainings here.
According to Nancy De Guzman, TESDA Administrative Officer V, 12 trainings have already been started since the beginning of the year saying six of which were completed while the rest are still on-going.
De Guzman certified that trainings being offered include commercial cooking, coco processing, driving, food and beverage services, English language proficiency, consumer electronics services, personal computer operations, and shielded metal arc wielding (SMAW).
She reported that a total of 357 individuals have already benefited under said activities – 181 of which are males, 176 are females.
Earlier, Cueva bared their notable accomplishment for 2011 on massive training, assessment and certification, scholarships, employment, and other joint undertakings with the Local Government Units (LGUs), Congressional Offices, PNP and the AFP. (Radyo Ng Bayan-Tandag/PIA Surigao del Sur)
